Family, Maternity and Children's Portrait Session

This was a fun family session that took place in a park.  Kids love trees and I love photographing them in trees.  They like to nestled in the trunk .  I get lots of opportunities to capture some great moments.  It helps that they stay put a little longer than when they are on the ground!

Splashes of Red

This session was at local park. I saw this moment in the middle of a clothing change. The splash of red and her direct gaze at the camera keeps me coming back to this portrait.

Summer Afternoon

I love the way the back lighting in these photographs help create a dreamy quality to these portraits. Photographing these children playing in the early evening light brought back memories of my own childhood summers. I would be interested in comments regarding black and white verses color or any other thoughts.
